Spacious, warm and spotlessly clean cabins made for a comfortable stay. the cabins were well, decorated and modern, with everything we needed to make it feel like home. the dog, friendly aspect was a huge plus, as we were able to bring our furry friend along for some lovely walks in the area. the location was also convenient, allowing us to easily explore nearby attractions such as Gretna and Carlisle.
The noise from the nearby road, especially the lorries passing by, was a bit bothersome, particularly in the early morning hours. It would be helpful if the windows were better soundproofed.

The value for money at Ewes Water Log Cabins Villa was outstanding and the room itself was absolutely stunning. The location next to the river was breathtaking and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
It would be great if there were more options for breakfast, especially in terms of healthier choices.

We had the two smaller log cabins for our family and had the best 3 days over Christmas. Everything we needed to cook a Christmas dinner for 8 of us was provided, including a Christmas tree! The lodge was stunning, surrounded by hedges and greenery for privacy, with a babbling river nearby. It was conveniently located for country walks and exploring the area. The cabins were equipped with smart TVs, underfloor heating, and comfortable beds. The on-site cafe, although closed during my stay, offered a great breakfast.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
